Delta Same Day Confirmed

Delta same day confirmed flights  allows you to travel on the next departing flight if your were not allotted a seat on the departing flight because of unavailability of seats. You will be allotted a seat for free or by paying some amount on the next departing flight depending on the availability of seats.

Eligibility For Delta Same Day Confirmed

1. Passengers will be eligible for Delta same day confirmed flight if they are travelling within the 50 states of US including US Virgin Island, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Passengers will not be eligible for Delta same day confirmed flight if they are travelling on international destinations.
2. Passenger can request for a same day flight change 24 hours before their flight departure however with a limited conditions.
3.  You won’t have to pay any extra change fees if you have booked a refundable flight ticket
4. Also if you have purchased a flight ticket for the main cabin then you will be assigned a same day seat for main cabin only
5. If you have booked a seat for first class  flight ticket on Delta One/ Delta Premium select you can make a request for a same day confirmed seats if the seats are available
6. If you have booked a seat for Delta Comfort Plus you can make a request for a same day confirmed seats if the seats are available and if seats are not available you can make a change for a cabin seat
7. Passengers are not allowed to make changes on their travel destination for Delta same day confirmed seats
8. Passengers are not allowed to make changes on non stop connecting flights including basic economy flight fares.

Delta Same Day Standby

When you cannot get a seat on Delta same day confirmed then you will be put on a same day standby for an open seat on another flight.

Eligibility for Delta same day standby

1. Delta same day standby will be applicable only if Delta same day confirmed seats are unavailable
2.  Passenger can request for a same day standby 24 hours before their flight departure however with a limited conditions.
3. You can fly for an earlier flight only from your original flight if you are a General sky mile member, silver medallion member or a non member.
4. While you can depart on the next available flight any time for a same day standby if you are a Diamond/ Gold Medallion or Platinum member.
5. You are not eligible for making same day standby if you have booked a basic economy airfare and also if you have booked a flight ticket for connecting to non stop flights.
6. Passengers will be eligible for Delta same day standby flight if they are travelling within the 50 states of US including US Virgin Island, and Puerto Rico on Delta and Delta connecting flights. Passengers will not be eligible for Delta same day standby flight if they are travelling on international destinations.
7. Also Delta same day standby list is not available for same city, co terminals or if you are making changes for origin and destination.

1. Same Day standby list are not applicable on basic economy fares irrespective of Medallion or elite status.
